Join Heroes Never Alone for a refreshing morning outdoors at Linn Run State Park! All veterans and their spouses are invited to join us on Saturday, October 3 at 9:00 AM for a morning hike along the Wolf Rocks Overlook Trail. This approximately two-hour, four-mile loop is considered an intermediate-level hike and includes rocky terrain and inclines. We’ll take a break halfway through at the beautiful Wolf Rocks Overlook before continuing the loop. Water and granola bars will be provided, and there is no cost to participate. This is an adults-only event and is open exclusively to veterans and their spouses. Please note that the hike is weather permitting.


Location: Wolf Rocks Trailhead, Wolf Rocks Trail, Rector, PA 15677


Special Note: This hike takes place the same morning as our Women’s PTSD Meeting, and the schedule allows time to attend both events. If you are interested in attending the Women’s PTSD Meeting, please register HERE.

Rucksack Ration Mass Distribution | June 15th, 2026

Heroes Never Alone, in partnership with the Westmoreland County Food Bank, is proud to host a Rucksack Ration Mass Distribution on Monday, June 15th, 2026. This event is dedicated to supporting our veteran community by providing essential rations needed.


Veteran Registration Required


All veterans must be registered in advance to receive a Rucksack distribution.

Heroes Never Alone is honored to announce our annual Veteran’s Day Dinner, taking place on Wednesday, November 11th, 2026. This cherished event brings our community together to recognize, celebrate, and honor the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our nation.

We are honored to welcome Jessica Lynch as our guest speaker. A former U.S. Army Private First Class and Prisoner of War, her courage and resilience have inspired millions. We are grateful to have her share her story with our veteran community and supporters.
